事件保险 & 郁金香
All vendors are required to maintain specific types of insurance 和 provide proof of that insurance, relevant to the activities involved in the event. See below for the minimum insurance limits required for events.
If third parties need to purchase insurance for special events, DU permits third parties to use University facilities for special events through Tenants' 和 Users' Liability 保险 Policy ("郁金香"), which provides low-cost general liability insurance to third-party users of DU facilities. 以下是其他详细信息.

When hosting an event, the minimum required insurance limits are:
- 一般责任 with a minimum of $1 million per occurrence/$2 million aggregate. DU should be named as an additional insured.
- 汽车责任 with $1 million combined single limit.
- Workers' compensation insurance with the minimum statutory amounts as required by law if the vendor's employees are performing services for the University.
- 额外的保险 - Evidence of additional coverage may be required depending on the event, 包括, but not limited to: Liquor Liability, 网络保险, 职业责任, 和错误 & 遗漏.

郁金香 protects both the Facility User (the third party) 和 DU against claims by event participants who may be injured or lose property in low-risk events such as seminars, receptions or weddings to higher-risk events 包括 camps, 体育赛事或音乐会. 郁金香 can only be purchased when the event takes place in a DU-owned facility. It does not extend to other properties, e.g. 有线电视中心.
Third parties with no relation to DU 和 no DU financial support need to obtain the 郁金香 code from their event planner to complete an application form. Coverage must be paid via credit card. Upon completion of the transaction, they will receive an emailed copy of their application 和 a binder of coverage.

美食车风险要求
If your unit is bringing a food truck to campus or at any property owned by the University, the vendor must provide proof of the following:
1. A certificate of insurance with:
- 一般责任 with a minimum of $1 million per occurrence/$2 million aggregate. DU should be named as an additional insured.
- 汽车责任 with $1 million combined single limit.
- Workers' compensation insurance with the minimum statutory amounts as required by law if the vendor has any employees.
- 额外的保险 - If the food truck is involved in 和 collecting money as part of a fundraiser, we may require additional coverage.

3. A copy of the vendor's last health inspection report to verify that the vendor has met or exceeded local health regulations
In addition to the above, your unit must:
- 联系 Parking Services 和 Facilities to get their approval.
- 如果涉及明火, a fire permit must be obtained 和 you must contact Jeff Simpson with 校园 Safety.
Vehicles should be in good working order (no leaks) 和 vendors must store 和 dispose of the waste they generate.
Any clean-up costs or damages will be charged to the vendor(s) 和/or the DU unit that brought the vendor(s) to campus.
